Join Griffin Books for the perfect Friday night in. Penarth’s independent bookshop will launch their autumn online events programme on Friday 4 September, with none other than actress, screenwriter and author, Ruth Jones. Ruth will be talking to actress and local Penarth resident Suzanne Packer about her latest novel, Us Three, before taking questions from the audience.

Us Three, is a funny, moving and uplifting story about life’s complications, the power of friendship and how it defines us all. Ruth Jones is best known for her outstanding and award-winning television writing – including BBC 1’s Gavin and Stacey, in which she played the incorrigible Nessa, and Sky 1’s Stella, in which she played the titular role. Her 2018 debut novel Never Greener was a number one bestseller.

The event will take place on Friday 4 September (at 8.00 pm) via Zoom video call. Tickets cost £15.00 per household, which includes access to the online event and a SIGNED hardback copy of Us Three. There are only a handful of tickets remaining for this event, book soon to avoid disappointment.
