There’s a beautiful relationship going on in Penarth, involving coffee and concrete

Grounds for Good and Concrete Carrot are two local businesses that are hand-crafting, unique and bespoke products with a modern, industrial twist. Grounds for Good are always looking for innovative ways of re-purposing coffee grounds that would otherwise go to landfill. So, what better way than to give concrete some eco credentials!

This is what Toby and Chris at Concrete Carrot were challenged with and they did not disappoint. Grounds for Good now have a small but beautifully curated collection of concrete products that contain used coffee grounds, and which are available to purchase. Grounds for Good are a social enterprise with all profits going to support The Wallich, a national charity supporting the homeless. Go to www.groundsforgood.co.uk for more
