Côr Can Penarth
Frock swaps, for homeless charities
For more information, don’t hesitate to email; Sue: suelcarter@gmail.com
Nearly £300 was raised for Action for Children’s Byte Night corporate sleepout at a clothes swap event held at Penarth Lawn Tennis Club.  People brought clothing they no longer wanted, and took away items that were new to them, enjoying an evening of sustainable clothes shopping. Penarth resident Sue Carter organised the evening, and is planning another for the autumn! If you’d like to join the sleep out in October, register at https://www.bytenight.org.uk

Penarth Gin
So our idea for Penarth gin built from us owning Gin64, which is Penarth’s first premium gin bar.Â
We stock over 150 different gins sourced from all over the world, all possessing their own unique flavour.
After tasting various gins with our clientele over a 4 month period we were amazed by the variety of different tasting notes our guests look for in a premium dry gin.Â
What we have achieved here with Penarth Gin is a truly premium Welsh Dry Gin which is intensely smooth and carries on surprising you with different tastes long after your first try!Â
Being a Welsh dry gin it is juniper led, with subtle notes of peppercorn, orange, lime and grains of paradise.Â
A town with a history as rich and coloured as Penarth’s deserves a spirit unlike any other.
It’s a gin that’s distilled in our Garden By The Sea, to be enjoyed by everyone. This is a taste of our home, and we want nothing more than to share it with you.

Rosie Oretti
The Oretti family have returned from Tanzania after completing their 6km ascent trek up Mount Kilimanjaro! The trek took a total of 9 days to complete camping in the national park with no showers or tiles facilities, and challenging altitude effects! All that effort though has managed to raise a whopping £1,325 so far for The Wallich Charity which supports communities across Wales to prevent homelessness. There’s still chance to donate!
