Local Businesses Take Part In Halloween Trail

Ten local businesses are taking part in this years Halloween Trail, inviting members of the community to find hidden spells in shop windows. 

The trail, which begins today and will end on Halloween Eve, is a collaboration between Penarth Business Group, ShopAppy.com and Vale of Glamorgan Council. With many prizes up for grabs, participants are encouraged to ‘discover the magic of your local high street’ in the run-up to Halloween. 

‘Guaranteed to be a spellbinding experience for the whole family’, fun activities will also take place throughout the week.

  • Umpa Lumpa Sweet Shop will be offering free sweets to all children who find the magical code and say it in store
  • Take a picture in your spooky costume and tag @shopappyuk on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram for the chance to win a £50 Funky Monkey voucher.
  • Free face painting outside Foxy’s Deli on Saturday 30th October. 
  • Griffin Books will be doing a special book reading. 
  • Fun glass making workshops at Glass by Design- just £20 per class.

To get involved, head on down to Glass by Design to collect a map between Tuesday and Saturday, 9am-4pm, and ‘embark on your spooktacular magical adventure’.
