Vale of Glamorgan Summer of Fun Mini Beasts Adventure

Join us at Porthkerry Country Park as we explore what mini beasts call it home. Come discover bugs, beetles and bees and much more.

Mini beasts such as bugs, beetles, bees and others that live in our hedgerows, trees and under our feet are not often seen. In this walk, we will explore the various habitats to see what we can find and learn a little more about these mini beasts.

We will have a closer look at the beautiful iridescence of some of our beetles and peer into the fascinating world of mini beasts as they sun bathe and go about their day.

At the end of the session, we will repurpose cans, plastic bottles and milk cartons into bug motels for your garden.

This activity is free of charge and funded by the Welsh Government Summer of Fun programme
