Vale Show regularly attracts over 20,000 people from all walks of life, from town and from the countryside. The Show has grown considerably over the years and is now the largest one-day event in the Vale of Glamorgan.

The Vale of Glamorgan Agricultural Society was established in 1772 for farmers to meet and compete in annual produce and livestock competitions. Eventually, the Society created the Vale of Glamorgan Show, initially held in Cowbridge, it moved to its magnificent site at Fonmon Castle in 1998.
