A leisurely evening walk taking in three Vale pubs, all ‘locals’ and all featuring real ale/craft beer. Starting at the ‘locals local’ – the Edmondes Arms, we meet and have a drink before heading off to the Hare & Hounds in Aberthin through the fields and meadows before returning to Cowbridge and checking in at the Vale of Glamorgan Inn. The ‘Vale’ has picked up CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale) recognition for many years, similarly the ‘Hare’ has been recognised as most improved real ale pub recently, under new direction and combined with a strong local food emphasis.
