Up to 200 teams will compete at our first coastal event of our 2021/22 events programme. This low impact, ‘leave no trace’ event is brought to you by Vale of Glamorgan Council, in partnership with Beach Academy Wales.

With prizes for the top three. Competitors will be judged on their creative, ‘castle’ building skills, which can only be made out of sand, and at the end of the day will be washed away naturally by the tide, ‘leaving no trace’.

Beach Academy Wales will also be running some fun challenges on the beach…try the Castle Bucket Tower – How high can you stack it? Or the Beach Ball Golf – Can you get a hole in one?
