Join us for a spine-tingling evening in the company of crime thriller writers Sarah Pearse and Beverley Jones.

Sarah’s debut novel, The Sanatorium, was the bestselling crime thriller debut of 2021 and an instant No.1 Sunday Times bestseller. It also spent six weeks on the New York Times bestseller list, was a Reese Witherspoon Book Club pick and received rave reviews from the likes of Richard Osman, Lucy Foley and A J Finn. Sarah will be talking about her eagerly anticipated new thriller, The Retreat.

Bev Jones formerly worked as a press officer and media manager for South Wales Police, participating in criminal investigations, security operations, counter terrorism and emergency planning. Unsurprisingly, she channels these experiences of true crime, and her insight into the murkier side of human nature, into her dark, psychological thrillers. Her new novel, The Beach House, has been tipped as one the ‘Best Thrillers to Read in 2022’ by The Evening Standard,  and her novel Wilderness has recently been optioned by Firebird Pictures for development into a six-part TV series by Amazon Prime, due to air in 2023.

Sarah and Beverley will be interviewed by novelist and friend of Griffin Books, Katherine Stansfield.
