On Friday 15^th February, the 8-piece “Superskas” will be lining-up to perform a catalogue of hits from the golden ages of Trojan Ska & 2 Tone in aid of the Lifeboat Station, Penarth.

Covering Toots & the Maytals and Desmond Dekker, through to The Specials, Madness, Bad Manners and The Selecter, “The Superskas” come complete with horn section and male and female vocalists  – all of whom are guaranteed to get the party started!  

Fund raising committee member, Caroline Youde, had this to say, “as a committee, we are excited to be organising this event.  I first saw the band play live at the Edge Festival in July 2018 – and the whole crowd were jumping!  Not one person stopped dancing during their two 45mins sets.  Whatever your age, if you simply love moving to a great beat, you won’t be disappointed!.  We’ve chosen a fantastic venue (The Paget Rooms*), which is easily accessible by train, and being in the heart of the town, is close to a number of excellent pubs and restaurants”.
