Leaving Rhoose station, a short walk through the village takes us to the airport perimeter fence. The walk takes in Fonmon pond (lots of ducks), Aberthaw quarries(wow), a nature reserve with lakes(beautiful), sea birds (all sorts) and views of West Country (stunning). The last part of the walk takes us up steps to Fontygary caravan park then along Welsh coastal path back to the railway station.
