Mindfulness Foundation Workshop
To attend this online Mindfulness Foundation workshop please book your ticket through Eventbrite. Tickets are available to purchase up to 24 hours before the event begins. Samye Foundation Wales uses Zoom which is very user friendly. Before the event you will be sent an email with the registration links to the event. Please follow the instructions in the email.
This 2 hour workshop will be delivered by Lorraine Harris, a long term practitioner an of mindfulness who delivers talks, workshops and courses to organisations across the private, public and voluntary sectors. This workshop will identify what mindfulness is and explain the history of mindfulness. Also it will introduce mindfulness terminology as well as cover the neuroscientific evidence for mindfulness. You will have opportunity to practise mindfulness exercises that you will be able to apply at home or at work. We will also look at what is triggering stress and anxiety, and what is causing us not to be mindful.
