Lost In Translation (2003)
The Virgin Suicides (1999), announced the arrival of a new, highly talented director, and Sofia Coppola proved she wasn’t a flash-in-the-pan with her much-loved follow-up, Lost In Translation. Bill Murray and Scarlett Johansson play lost souls hanging out in a Tokyo hotel and striking up an unlikely friendship. It’s beautiful and the soundtrack is sublime. A favourite here at Snowcat Towers and a film we can’t wait to see again on the big screen.
