Landscape Artist Frank Collict will be holding a Line and Wash workshop at Penarth Conservative Club, Stanwell Road, Penarth, CF64 2EZ on Saturday the 4th of April 2020, from 10am until 4pm.

This one day workshop is designed to help you with your watercolour painting using the line and wash technique, this is a very effective way of painting and you will learn how to produce achievable watercolours using economy of line with bold and simple brushwork while using a limited palette.

All abilities are welcome whether you paint regularly or you’re just starting out. You will be painting two subjects throughout the day while working at your own pace. After a brief introduction I will explain my technique and materials followed by a quick demonstration after which the class will begin, colour visuals of the subjects to be painted will also be available for you to follow. ( A full list of materials needed will be sent out prior to the day).

There will be lots of friendly one to one tuition to address all your questions and of course plenty of Tea, Coffee and Cake. Bring a packed lunch if needed, or you could walk into Penarth Town for something to eat as the venue is located close to the Town Centre. Free parking is also available at the venue.
