It’s A Wonderful Life – A Live Radio Play
Inspired by the classic American film, It’s a Wonderful Life: a live radio play is performed as a 1940s live radio broadcast in front of a studio audience.
With the help of an ensemble of six actors and a live foley artist creating the sound effects, the story of idealistic George Bailey unfolds as he considers ending his life one fateful Christmas Eve. It will take help from a lovable angel, Clarence, for George to have a change of heart and understand the true spirit of the Christmas.
With live music and a cast of six actors bringing a radio recording studio and the town of Bedford Falls to life, Lighthouse Theatre and Pontardawe Arts Centre present this ingenious staging of a timeless classic film and seasonal favourite.
