Gingerbread Man: Heritage Coast

Wake up those imaginations and get ready for some FREE storytelling fun with Louby Lou’s and the Vale of Glamorgan Council this Summer.

Poor old Grandma is in a spot of trouble! After baking a delicious batch of Gingerbread, one of the cheeky little fellows decided to make a run for it and is on the loose around Dunraven Gardens! Follow the clues and help Grandma track down the mischievous Gingerbread in this exciting fairytale adventure that is fun for all the family. You’ll need sharp eyes, fast feet and a sprinkle of imagination dust!

This event is designed to encourage imaginative play in nature and takes place outdoors, so please make sure you dress for the weather on the day. Our trails head out in all weathers, even in the rain, so please make sure this is taken into consideration before booking.

On arrival, please head to the Heritage Coast Centre, where one of our storytellers will be on hand to check you in.  We advise arriving ten minutes before the trail start time. Keep an eye out for our Louby Lou flags to point you in the right direction.

Children will need to be accompanied by an adult at all times for the duration of the trail. Young children in pushchairs or carriers are welcome to attend with older siblings. Please note, this applies to younger siblings only and not younger children from a different family.

Car parking and toilet facilities are available on site.
Recommended age: 3 – 8 years.

This activity is free of charge and funded by the Welsh Government Summer of Fun programme. As part of the funding, you will be asked a short questionnaire on booking.
