From the beach we will walk westwards along the Wales Coastal Path passing several small bays and catching some views of St Donats castle. Passing the castle the lighthouses come into sight and our first break. Heading inland along the Marcross valley we turn right and head to St Donat’s church and a view of the castle. We then start our return to the old part of Llantwit Major passing the church and dovecote to the beach.
