The Town Walk last month was the most popular event in years, over sixty people attended. Alan had hoped to be able to cover all of the east Bowery and Daggertown areas but time ran out and he said he would cover Daggertown next year.

However…

Public appeals from people who were there have persuaded him to run an extra walk this year…Into Deepest Daggertown, with nefarious tales of stabbings, shootings and all about the goings on in Penarth’s own wild west! There will also be the usual talks about the streets and buildings in the area. We meet at 2pm outside Albert Road Primary School on Sunday 12th September, it promises to be another really interesting walk.

It is free for members and £2 per person for non members.
