The UK’s largest animatronic dragon has made an appearance in Cardiff Bay. If you haven’t already, get yourself down to Mermaid Quay now to have the ultimate dragon fan experience! 

With activities including face painting, a dragon Instagram filter, a ride and of course, the dragon itself. Arriving on the 24th of October, the dragon is 15 meters long and 6 meters tall. This animatronic dragon will move, blink and breathe like a real mystical creature- but watch out for its terrifying roar and smokey breath! 

As well as some amazing sights and activities, there will be a special showing of ‘How To Train A Dragon’ at Everyman cinema. Surrounding businesses will be offering special ‘Dragon Deals’, with Cadwaladers selling their special ‘Dragon Sunday’ and cafe’s and restaurant handing out colouring sheets. There will also be a treasure hunt, taking you on an adventure as six dragons are running wild around the bay. Make sure you catch them all! 

Up for grabs is also the chance to win four tickets to see Wales v Australia, taking place on November 20th. To enter, simply find out the name of the Dragon and fill out the entry on on Mermaid Quay’s website.
