With today being National Father and Daughter Take A Walk Day, we’re taking a look back at this great Father and Daughter team that touched the hearts of the local community back in March.

Anna Musson and her Father, Tim, aimed to walk two miles every day around Penarth in a bid to raise money for Vale Plus, a day centre situated in Barry for disabled people. 

Anna, who has Down’s Syndrome, walked for her house on Augusta Crescent down to Penarth Pier, through Alexandra Park and the town centre before making her way back home. 

They did so no matter the weather, with the hopes of helping Vale Plus overcome what has been a difficult year. 

Their target was only £100, however Anna and Tim inspired people with their story and their cause and managed to raise over £5,000.
