This is an example of a Valeways self-guided walk. The leaflet offers 4 & 7 mile options with a map and a full stile to stile description for both routes. Today, it will be a led walk and we will be taking the 7 mile route. This includes various terrains in and outside the forestry, points of interest will include passing two houses occupied in the past and present by world-famous Welsh celebrities, views across the valleys to the north, Talygarn Manor, Castell Coch and Cardiff and two lakes.
